From Media Platform to Platform Media: A Study on the Construction of International Communication Paths of Local Mainstream Media

Na Qi, Ruoxi Liu

Abstract

In the context of media convergence and the deep empowerment of big data technology, local mainstream media face an urgent need
to transform from traditional media platforms to platform-type media (Platisher). This paper focuses on the core goal of building international communication capabilities for local mainstream media, combining the characteristics of new media technology and global communication rules. It proposes that local mainstream media should achieve leapfrog development from channel dependence to ecological empowerment by restructuring content production models, integrating data resources, leveraging the ecosystem of international social platforms, and
building an autonomous and controllable communication system.
