Research on the Employment Situation and Countermeasures of Rural Labor Force in Longnan City

Abstract


As a major agricultural city in Gansu Province, the employment situation of rural labor force in Longnan City is of great significance to promoting rural revitalization and coordinated development of urban and rural areas. Through on-the-spot visits and policy texts,
this study objectively analyzes the employment status of rural labor force in Longnan City and various factors affecting employment. It
is found that the rural labor force in Longnan is characterized by high age, low education and lack of skills. The employment structure is
dominated by the primary and tertiary industries, and the employment opportunities are limited. By optimizing the market environment,
perfecting the employment service system, establishing a multi-level training system and strengthening the construction of information
service platform, the employment quality of rural labor force in Longnan City can be improved. It is of great value to promote regional
economic development and rural revitalization.
