Research on the Transformation of Operations Management Models in Smart Manufacturing

Liyang Zhang

Abstract

In the new era of global manufacturings shift towards intelligence, the transformation of operational management models has become a critical issue for companies to adapt to technological innovation and market competition. For the biotechnology industry, the complexity of production processes, stringent quality control, and high barriers to technology transfer pose significant challenges to traditional operational management models in the face of the intelligent manufacturing wave. Practical experiences in production management and technology
transfer within the biotechnology sector highlight that during the transition from laboratory research and development to large-scale production, issues such as inefficiency, delayed decision-making, and lack of flexibility in traditional models have become increasingly prominent.
Therefore, exploring the transformation paths of operational management models in the biotechnology industry under the context of intelligent
manufacturing is of great theoretical and practical significance for improving production efficiency, optimizing technology transfer processes,
and enhancing corporate core competitiveness.
