Synergistic Development Pathways for Natural Product Extraction of Millettia Speciosa (Hainan Niudali) and Sustainable Resource Management

Yu Zhang, Shiyi Ruan, Fang Ye

Abstract

This study focuses on exploring the synergistic mechanism between natural product extraction and sustainable resource utilization
of Millettia Speciosa (Hainan Niudali), a precious medicinal plant. Millettia Speciosa is a very crucial economic crop in Hainan Province. Due
to its obvious economic value and wide medicinal uses, it has attracted great attention. In terms of natural product extraction technology, it
analyzes comprehensively the performance features and applicable conditions of extraction techniques, such as solvent extraction, ultrasonicassisted extraction, and microwave assisted extraction, in the separation of the active ingredients of Millettia Speciosa. In the field of sustainable resource management, it deeply evaluates germplasm conservation, improvement of planting techniques, integration of the industrial
chain and other multiple aspects. To promote natural product extraction of Millettia Speciosa and the sustainable utilization of its resources, it
is recommended to establish a scientific germplasm resource database, promote eco-friendly cultivation methods, Optimize the deployment of
full industry chain, increase policy support, and thus promote high-quality development of regional economy and achieve the goals of ecological environment protection.
