Application of Internet of Things in Modern Mechanical and Electronic Engineering
Abstract
The rapid advancement of information technology is fundamentally reshaping modern industrial paradigms and operational models.
This study examines IoT applications in mechatronic engineering, analyzing its technological characteristics and implementation mechanisms
across critical domains including equipment monitoring/maintenance, smart manufacturing optimization, industrial automation with intelligent logistics, and product lifecycle management. Through this analysis, we propose a multi-tiered IoT integration framework to provide theoretical foundations and technical support for the digital transformation and intelligent upgrading of mechatronic systems. This approach aims
to drive fundamental shifts in traditional manufacturing toward intelligent manufacturing practices.
