Abstract


This paper conducts an in-depth study on cultivating tourism management professionals through vocational undergraduate education in the new era. By analyzing emerging trends and evolving demands in the tourism industry, while considering the distinctive features
of vocational undergraduate programs, it identifies current challenges in talent development. The paper proposes strategic solutions including optimizing curriculum systems, deepening industry-education integration, enhancing practical training, building dual-qualified faculty
teams, and refining talent evaluation mechanisms. These recommendations aim to provide vocational institutions with actionable guidance
for developing high-quality applied professionals who meet the evolving needs of the tourism sector, ultimately driving sustainable growth
in the industry.
