Abstract


With economic growth and evolving lifestyles, night-time tourism has emerged as a new economic growth engine for cities. Urban
lighting landscapes, serving as vital components of this industry, play a pivotal role in attracting visitors, enhancing city branding, and stimulating consumption. This study examines the planning and design principles of urban lighting landscapes within the context of night-time tourism, analyzes their significance and current challenges, outlines strategic approaches, and provides practical insights through case studies. The
research aims to offer theoretical foundations and actionable references for developing distinctive, high-quality urban lighting designs that
drive sustainable development in the night-time economy.
