Stability Analysis of Surrounding Rock in Rock and Underground Engineering Construction
Abstract
quality. This paper begins by analyzing factors affecting retaining wall stability, then explores strategies for controlling such stability during
geotechnical and underground engineering operations. Through examining influencing elements including geological conditions, construction
disturbances, and support measures, combined with practical engineering case studies, the paper proposes enhanced geological investigation,
optimized excavation methods, timely support systems, and monitoring and early warning mechanisms as key measures for retaining wall
stability control. The research demonstrates that comprehensively understanding critical factors affecting retaining wall stability and implementing targeted control strategies are of great significance in ensuring construction safety and improving project quality in geotechnical and
underground engineering projects.
