Conflict Resolution and Management Strategies for Steel Structure and Civil Construction under Digital Control

Hongtao Wang

Abstract

This study addresses common challenges in cross-disciplinary coordination between steel structure and civil engineering projects,
including dimensional mismatches, workflow conflicts, and site utilization clashes. To enhance construction collaboration and precision
management, the paper proposes conflict resolution strategies through BIM model pre-integration, digital progress tracking platforms, and
intelligent resource scheduling systems. These solutions are supported by standardized digital workflows, accountability logs, and real-time
monitoring mechanisms. Research demonstrates that these approaches effectively resolve cross-construction conflicts, clarify management
responsibilities, optimize coordination efficiency, and provide practical pathways for digital collaborative management in steel structure and
civil engineering projects.
