The Interference Mechanism of Chaff Clouds on Pulse Doppler Fuzes

Abstract


This paper focuses on the pulse Doppler fuze detection system and integrates the motion trajectory model of chaff clouds. It first investigates the jamming mechanism of chaff clouds on pulse Doppler fuzes, followed by field experiments to validate the analysis. Simulation
results indicate that the interference caused by chaff clouds is more akin to false target jamming, providing a theoretical basis for designing
anti-chaff jamming methods for pulse Doppler fuze systems.
