Research on the Path to Enhancing Residents' Satisfaction in Chengdu under the Concept of Park City
Abstract
urban parks in Chengdu has gradually become a key factor in meeting the needs of residents for a better life. This paper conducts an empirical analysis of the impact path on satisfaction and willingness to build a park city in Chengdu through questionnaire survey, combined
with descriptive statistical analysis and ASCI structural equation model. The results show that: 1) the overall satisfaction of Chengdu
residents with parks is relatively high; 2) there is a significant divergence in residents' preferences for the environmental quality and facility functions of parks. 3) Environmental perception and service quality positively drive residents' satisfaction and happiness. 4) There is
room for improvement in the efficiency of converting satisfaction to long-term identification, and the significance of some observed variables is weaker than that of the core path. This study provides empirical evidence for the relationship between urban park construction and
residents' satisfaction, and has positive implications for promoting the high-quality and sustainable development of urban parks. To clarify
the logic of residents' demands in the construction of a park city in Chengdu and provide empirical support for the design of satisfaction
improvement paths.
