Low Carbon Construction Technology for Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering

Abstract


This article is based on the current era of green and low-carbon development, and systematically explores the application path of
low-carbon construction technology in response to the long construction period, high resource consumption, and far-reaching environmental
impact of water conservancy and hydropower projects. By analyzing the main sources of energy consumption and carbon emissions during the
construction process, a comprehensive technical system covering construction planning optimization, application of new low-carbon building
materials, promotion of energy-saving machinery and equipment, and improvement of construction processes has been proposed. Research
has shown that adopting scientific low-carbon construction management and advanced technological means can not only significantly reduce
the carbon emission intensity during the construction period, but also improve resource utilization efficiency and achieve coordinated growth
of economic and ecological benefits. This article aims to provide technical reference for the construction practice of China's water conserv
ancy and hydropower industry, and help the industry transform and upgrade towards green and low-carbon.
