AReview of Phonetic Research on the Chakhar Sub-dialect of Mongolian
Abstract
in China, the Chakhar sub-dialect boasts a wide distribution and a large number of speakers, and its phonetic research is of great significance
for understanding the diversity and historical evolution of Mongolian. By dividing previous studies into two phases of traditional description
and quantitative analysis in experimental phonetics, this paper systematically clarifies the developmental trajectory and current research status
of phonological studies on the Chakhar sub-dialect of Mongolian.
