A Study on the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Empowering the Dissemination of Visual Culture in Social Media

Hui Wang, Xiukun Wang

Abstract

Social media has become the main arena for the circulation of visual culture, where images and short videos shape public perception
and everyday aesthetics with high frequency, strong emotions, and powerful symbols. This paper focuses on the new forms of visual culture
dissemination on social media and analyzes how artificial intelligence reshapes content production and distribution systems. It discusses the
interconnected effects of personalized recommendations, intelligent moderation, and user-participatory creation on visual cultural expression,
visibility allocation, and value guidance. The article emphasizes that beyond improving efficiency and expanding modes of expression, it
provides theoretical references and practical frameworks for building a visual communication ecosystem that balances innovative vitality and
public interest.
