Necessary Harmonization of the Way forward for Competition Law Protection of Consumer Rights in the Digital Economy

Abstract

The digital economy has sparked new consumer protection dilemmas like data rights imbalance, and the traditional legal system
has inherent limitations to tackle them. This paper elaborates the core mechanisms of competition law protecting consumer rights from its
objectives and functions, and puts forward targeted paths for such protection from logical adaptation, system coordination and governance
optimization.
