Research on the Challenges and Strategic Responses to Digital Transformation in Enterprise Human Resource Management

Abstract


Amid the rapid expansion of the digital economy, digital transformation has emerged as a pivotal driver for optimizing internal
management systems and strengthening organizational core competitiveness across industries. As the strategic cornerstone of enterprise talent
development, human resource management (HRM) plays a decisive role in shaping long-term corporate viability and adaptive capacity. The
efficacy of HR digital transformationmeasured by integration depth, system interoperability, and strategic alignmentdirectly influences
operational efficiency, decision-making agility, and sustainable growth trajectories. Grounded in the evolving landscape of enterprise digitalization, this paper identifies and analyzes three interrelated challenges confronting domestic enterprises in advancing HR digital transformation: (1) underdeveloped digital infrastructure; (2) critical gaps in digitally competent HR talent; and (3) misaligned governance mechanisms
and change-management capabilities. Drawing on empirical insights and best practices, the study proposes actionable, scalable, and contextsensitive strategiesincluding infrastructure modernization, competency-based capability building, and integrated digital governance frameworksto support enterprises of diverse scales and sectors in realizing value-driven HR digital transformation.
