Innovative Paths for Library Service Models in the Context of Digital Transformation

Baojia Li

Abstract

The wave of digitalization has profoundly reshaped the knowledge supply and dissemination landscape of society, posing disruptive
challenges to traditional library service models. Focusing on the context of digital transformation, this paper analyzes the dual driving forces
of digital technology iteration and user demand evolution on library services. Building upon this, it breaks down traditional business boundaries and systematically constructs an innovative framework for a new service model from three dimensions: the holographic digital evolution
of resource forms, intelligent applications enabled by big data and AI, and ubiquitous scenarios integrating online and offline elements. To
facilitate the implementation of this model, the paper further proposes an implementation path centered on data-driven and cross-sector collaboration, and emphasizes the underlying supporting role of institutional reconstruction and the development of a composite talent team. The
aim is to provide a pragmatic theoretical reference for the high-quality transformation and service efficiency enhancement of modern libraries.
