Normative Guidance and Governance Strategies for English Internet Expressions on Social Media
Abstract
in digital contexts, exhibit diversified and dynamic trends of development. While enhancing communicative efficiency and enriching modes of
expression, they also give rise to issues such as the weakening of linguistic norms shifts in cultural identity and cognitive impacts on adolescents. Grounded in the context of social media, this study systematically examines the typological features dissemination pathways and usage
scenarios of English internet expressions, and analyzes the principal problems associated with their use. On this basis, it proposes approaches
to normative guidance from the perspectives of the unity of linguistic standardization and innovation the strengthening of cultural orientation
and value guidance and the construction of a multi stakeholder collaborative governance framework, and further explores specific strategies
in terms of legal regulation platform management educational guidance and technological governance. The study aims to provide theoretical
references for optimizing the online linguistic ecosystem and enhancing language governance capacity.
