Abstract


As an important category of traditional visual arts of the Chinese nation, murals embody the aesthetic norms, folk culture and spiritual essence of successive dynasties, and possess prominent public nature, comprehensiveness and inheritance value. Against the backdrop
of improving the quality of aesthetic education in universities and promoting the creative transformation of traditional culture in the new era,
systematically incorporating traditional mural art into university curriculum systems serves as a vital approach to optimizing the structure of
university aesthetic education, fostering students' aesthetic attainments and strengthening their sense of identity with national culture.
