The Impact of Digital Transformation on Enterprises' Outward Foreign Direct Investment
Abstract
to 2024 as a research sample to systematically explore the impact of corporate digital transformation on outward foreign direct investment (
OFDI ) behavior. The empirical results show that the improvement of the level of digital transformation of enterprises can significantly expand
the scale of outward foreign direct investment.
??In general, the promotion of digital transformation has a significant positive effect on the overseas investment activities of Chinese
enterprises. This conclusion not only provides an empirical reference for enterprises to optimize the international strategic layout, but also
provides a reliable practical basis for accelerating the pace of digital upgrading of enterprises and promoting the construction of a higher
level of open pattern.
