A Study on Strategies to Enhance the Well-being of Librarians

Abstract

As the core of library knowledge services, the professional well-being of librarians is not only related to their own career development and mental health but also directly impacts the effectiveness and innovation level of library services. Currently, due to factors such as
compensation, career recognition, and more, the professional well-being among librarians is generally low, affecting their work enthusiasm
and organizational sense of belonging. This paper provides an in-depth analysis of the main factors influencing librarians' professional wellbeing and proposes specific strategies for improvement. The study concludes that only by establishing people-centered management mechanisms and career support systems can librarians'professional enthusiasm be truly stimulated, thereby driving the high-quality development of
the library profession.
