A Study on the Impact of Green Innovation Strategy on Enterprise Competitive Advantage: Evidence from a Listed Company's Data

ABBAS AMMAR AHMED NOMAN, Liangrong Song

Abstract

Against the backdrop of advancing dual carbon goals and increasingly stringent environmental protection policies, green transformation has become a necessary choice for enterprises to achieve sustainable development. Based on the panel data of a listed manufacturing company from 2019 to 2023, this paper measures its green innovation strategy from two aspects: green R&D investment and environmental patent output, and evaluates the enterprise's competitive advantage from two perspectives: profitability and market competitiveness. Through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis, the research results show that green innovation strategy has a significant positive impact on enterprise competitive advantage. Among them, green R&D investment plays a more direct role, while environmental patent output indirectly enhances the enterprise's competitive advantage by promoting product differentiation. This study provides micro-level evidence for relevant theories and offers practical reference for similar enterprises to formulate green strategies.
