Research on Teaching Reform Path of College Mental Health Education in the New Era

Abstract

With the rapid development of social modernisation, technological change and other changes, the mental health problems among
college students have been rising. Mental health education has gradually been incorporated into the curriculum at the college level to
promote the mental health of students and all-round development. Traditional college mental health education still has problems such as
outdated teaching concepts, a lack of practical relevance, limited integration of digital technology, and insufficient professional support.
Therefore, this paper will use the method of literature review and theoretical analysis to explore the current situation of college mental
health education and identify the main problems in its implementation. In light of the educational requirements in the new era, this paper
puts forward reform paths such as the innovation of teaching methods, the integration of information technology, the improvement of
teacher professionalism, and the construction of collaborative education mechanisms. It is suggested that student-centered, technologyassisted and practice-oriented reform will enhance the effectiveness of mental health education and promote the cultivation of psychologically healthy, resilient college students.
