A Study on the Relationship Between Users' Sentiment Tendencies and Consumer Decision-Making Intentions in the Comment Sections of Review-Oriented Short Videos
Abstract
users' sentiment tendencies, and consumer decision-making intentions. Based on content analysis and pilot coding of 20 representative comments, it finds that authentic experience, evidence presentation, value explanation, risk reminders, and action guidance are key cues in product
evaluation. Trust, purchase interest, and surprise are more often linked to purchase, saving, and inquiry, whereas skepticism, price sensitivity, and after-sales concerns are linked to observation, verification-seeking, and refusal. The comment section is therefore both an emotionalexpression space and a site of secondary verification.
