Research on Statistical Measurement of the Quality of Empowering Flexible Employment in Digital Economy
Abstract
part-time job are rapidly popularized, and flexible employment has become an important channel to absorb surplus labor and buffer the pressure of staged employment. From the perspective of socio-economic statistics practice, combined with the actual employment characteristics,
this paper constructs flexible employment quality evaluation indicators from four dimensions: income status, social security participation,
employment stability and career growth, and calculates the employment quality index of each province by using entropy weight objective
weighting method, and then quantitatively analyzes the actual driving effect of digital economy on employment quality with the help of panel
data. The calculation results show that the digital economy as a whole can improve the comprehensive quality of flexible employment, but the
gap between the eastern, central and western regions is obvious, and the empowerment effect in the eastern region is significantly better than
that in the central and western regions. Combined with the data exposed in the calculation and practical problems, this paper gives suggestions
for improvement from three aspects: perfecting the employment statistics system, completing the regional digital infrastructure and optimizing
the social security policy for flexible employment.
