Abstract
manufacturing, green transformation, and institutional reform. As a key engine of high-quality growth, they promote regional economic development through technological progress, industrial upgrading, efficient resource allocation, ecological sustainability, and governance improvement. By fostering emerging industries and enhancing total factor productivity, new quality productive forces strengthen regional competitiveness and economic resilience. However, challenges such as regional innovation disparities, talent shortages, weak industrial foundations, and
policy coordination issues remain. Therefore, advancing innovation systems, digital–industrial integration, green development, talent cultivation, and regional coordination is essential for fully realizing the role of new quality productive forces in regional economic transformation
