Research on Freight Logistics Carrying Capacity and Regional Differences in China Based on Principal Component Analysis

Abstract


This paper examines Chinas freight logistics capacity and regional disparities using principal component analysis. A multidimensional evaluation system, covering freight volume, turnover rate, and economic scale, was developed. By reducing dimensionality and identifying key factors, the study assessed logistics capacity across 31 provinces. Results highlight significant regional imbalances, offering insights
for tailored logistics strategies and balanced regional development.
