Research on the Value and Management Optimization of ESG Practices in E-commerce Enterprises: A Case Study of Alibaba
Abstract
giant, Alibabas ESG practices in environmental protection, social development, and governance set an example. However, systematic studies on ESG implementation are scarce. This paper analyzes Alibaba, a Chinese internet leader with advanced ESG work, to examine its value
creation and identify challenges in its ESG practice, summarizing patterns. The aim is to provide management suggestions for Alibaba and offer reference and inspiration for other enterprises navigating ESG.
