The Impact of Low-Carbon Transition on Enterprises' Investment Behavior
Abstract
Against the backdrop of global warming, economic low-carbonization has become an inevitable requirement for development. To
this end, China has implemented the low-carbon city pilot policy. Given that most urban carbon emissions originate from enterprises, this paper uses the difference-in-differences method to examine the impact of low-carbon city construction on enterprises investment behavior. The
research results show that the implementation of the low-carbon city pilot policy significantly affects enterprises investment behavior, and
this conclusion is robust.
