Research on the Current Situation of Digital Economy Development and the Path of Smart Society Construction in Hainan

Abstract

Under the dual background of the comprehensive promotion of the digital China strategy and the preparation for the closure
of Hainan free trade port, the digital economy has become the core driving force for the high-quality development of Hainan, and the
construction of smart society is an important carrier for the implementation of the digital economy. Based on the actual development of
Hainan free trade port, combined with the latest industrial data, this paper systematically combs the achievements and current situation of
digital economy development in Hainan, deeply analyzes the shortcomings and challenges existing in the construction of smart society en
abled by the current digital economy, and explores the construction path of smart society that fits Hainan's characteristics from the dimen
sions of system innovation, infrastructure improvement, industrial integration, governance upgrading, and talent security, so as to provide
theoretical reference and practical ideas for building a new highland of digital economy in Hainan free trade port and building a universal
and convenient smart society system.
