Hainan's Practice in Constructing an Integrated Shipping-Port-Logistics Modern Supply Chain System

Abstract


In the context of Hainan Free Trade Port construction, the construction of an integrated shipping-port-logistics modern supply chain
system is an important underpinning for promoting the opening-up and development of Hainan and enhancing regional competitiveness.
Based on this, this paper, grounding in the geographical and policy advantages of Hainan, conducts research on the new situations and challenges after officially launching island-wide independent customs operation, and explores how to accelerate the construction of an integrated
shipping-port-logistics modern supply chain system in Hainan, as well as the existing challenges and strategies. It particularly elaborates on
the specific practices in port configuration, policy coordination, industrial integration, and other aspects. It moves beyond generalizations and
focuses on the research and improvement of practical operations, aiming to provide actionable insights for the construction of an international
shipping and logistics center and the formation of an efficient modern supply chain system in Hainan.
