Effect of Bevacizumab Targeted Therapy on Serum Immune Indexes and Tumor Markers in Patients with Stage â…¢ - â…£ Cervical Cancer

Abstract


Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy of bevacizumab targeted therapy in patients with stage â…¢ - â…£ cervical cancer (CCA).
Methods: A total of 200 patients with stage â…¢ - â…£ CCA admitted to our hospital from May 2023 to May 2024 were selected and divided
into two groups according to the random number table method. The control group (n = 100 cases) was treated with conventional TP chemotherapy, while the observation group (n = 100 cases) was treated with conventional TP chemotherapy combined with bevacizumab targeted
therapy. The clinical efficacy, serum immune indexes, serum tumor markers and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.
Results: The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group (81.00%) was higher than that in the control group (60.00%). After
treatment, the CD4 level (42.08±4.32)% and CD4 /CD8 (1.62±0.13) in the observation group were higher than those in the control
group, while the CD8 level (26.02±2.23)% was lower than that in the control group. The levels of carbohydrate antigen 125 (64.38±6.12)
U/ml, tumor-specific growth factor (30.22±3.21) U/ml and carcinoembryonic antigen (2.18±0.23) μg/L in the observation group were all
lower than those in the control group, with statistical differences (P < 0.05). There was no statistical difference in the incidence of adverse
reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Bevacizumab targeted therapy has a significant effect on improving serum immune indexes and tumor markers in patients with stage â…¢ - â…£ CCA, and it is relatively safe.
