Abstract
As a typical form of traditional painting, Chinese ink and landscape painting is blank art; it has its own way of creating space and
artistic conception and shows the aesthetic pursuit and cultural connotations of Oriental painting. This article focuses on research into the
aesthetic values of blank art in Chinese ink landscape painting. First, introduce the general ideas of blank art and its specific application in ink
landscape painting; then, analyze how it can add an ethereal artistic conception, extend the spatial scale of the work, reflect the Eastern aesthetic spirit, boost the value of artistic expression, and help people better understand the features of traditional Chinese painting.
