A Brief Research and Our Thoughts on Lao Shes Deeds in Practising Martial Arts

Abstract

The article delves into the intriguing facet of Lao She, a renowned Chinese novelist, dramatist, and literary figure, who was also
a skilled martial artist. It explores Lao Shes martial arts journey from his early days in Beijing through his experiences in Jinan, Qingdao,
Chongqing, and his return to Beijing. The narrative touches on significant moments, including his training under Coach Ma, encounters during
the Sino-Japanese War, and his persistence despite health challenges. The article underscores the fusion of literature and martial arts in Chinese culture, emphasizing the need to preserve and promote this heritage in the face of evolving societal trends.
