E-Translation of Chinas Diplomatic Discourse in Terms of Ideology
Abstract
discourse, aiming to reveal the ideological differences between the original text and the translated text, and to discuss the principles and strategies followed in the English translation of diplomatic discourse. Diplomatic discourse belongs to political text. Based on the manipulation
theory, this paper studies the role of ideology in its English translation, aiming to emphasize that the construction of diplomatic discourse
translation must have a high degree of sensitivity and cultural insight. Finally, it is concluded that ideology manipulates diplomatic discourse
translation.
