A Brief Review of the Studies on the Literary Works of Yan Geling

Abstract


The literary works produced by the brilliant Chinese-American writer Yan Geling have been drawing increasing attention from both
home and abroad, and researches on Yans works abound. The major focuses of these researches include the themes, images, artistic techniques, and comparative studies of Yans literary works. In spite of the abundant findings, there is still a lack of systematic research reviews
of the studies on Yans works. This paper seeks to provide a brief review of researches on Yans literary works, which can hopefully provide a
new insight.
