The Exploration of the Core Influence and Artistic Value of Performance Rhythm in the Presentation of Theatrical Performances

Abstract

Rhythm, as an ubiquitous phenomenon in life, profoundly influences people’s daily behavior and emotional experiences. On the
stage of theatrical art, exploring and refining the rhythms hidden in the details of life has become the relentless pursuit of creators. The grasp
and handling of dramatic rhythm not only concerns the emotional flow and plot progression within the drama, but also directly affects the audience’s perceptual experience and emotional resonance. Directors need to possess a high degree of artistic sensitivity and profound creative
skills in order to accurately capture and shape rhythm patterns that are both in line with the internal logic of theatre and can touch people’s
hearts. By cleverly arranging the rhythm, the director can guide the audience’s emotional fluctuations, enhance the infectiousness and artistry
of the theatre, and make the theatrical performance a profound and unforgettable artistic journey.
