A Comparative Study of Chinese and Japanese Lion Dance

Abstract

In ancient society, after the Lion Dance spread from the Western Regions to China for cultural integration, with the spread of the
Chinese cultural circle to North Korea, Japan and other places, and formed a new lion dance culture locally. This article mainly compares Chinese and Japanese lion dances, taps the cultural support behind the Japanese lion dance from the “Pantheism”, and finds the “same” and “different” behind the Chinese -Japanese lion dance.
