A Comparative Study of AI Translated Texts in Japanese in Cross-border E-commerce Companies -- Taking Temu, AliExpress, Shein and Amazon as Examples

Abstract


With the booming development of cross-border e-commerce, the trade between China and Japan is getting closer. This paper selects
four representative cross-border e-commerce platforms, Temu, AliExpress, Shein and Amazon, and conducts an in-depth comparison of the
Japanese AI translated texts in them, aiming at exploring the impact of translation strategies, methods and Chinese-Japanese cultural differences on the translation effect. It is found that each platform is unique in terms of translation quality, strategy and cultural adaptability, which
provides a valuable reference for the improvement of translation quality in Sino-Japanese cross-border e-commerce.
