Strategy Analysis of the Influence of AAA Game Visual Aesthetics on Traditional Cultural Identity in the STEAM Platform: A Case Study of “Black Myth: Wukong”

Abstract

In the digital age, AAA games, with their exquisite production and immersive experiences, have become an important medium for
cultural dissemination. This paper focuses on AAA games on the STEAM platform, selecting Black Myth: Wukong as a case study. It analyzes
how the visual aesthetics of the game shape and communicate traditional culture, and explores its impact on players’ traditional cultural identity and optimization strategies. Through an in-depth analysis of the visual elements in Black Myth: Wukong and the application of cultural
identity theory, this research aims to provide new perspectives on the inheritance and innovation of traditional culture, promoting the integration of the gaming industry and cultural development.
