Analysis of the Status Quo of Lanzhou Regional Cultural Soft Power

Abstract


Cultural soft power serves as an important part of urban comprehensive competitiveness. Lanzhou, by virtue of its distinctive geographical location, abundant historical and cultural resources, certain educational, scientific and technological strength and diverse tourism
resources, presents unique urban culture. In the study herein, SWOT analysis is utilized, with an aim to investigate into the status quo of the
regional cultural soft power of Lanzhou, and probe into the achievements and challenges of Lanzhou in constructing cultural soft power systematically, hoping to to fully demonstrate its urban competitiveness.
