An Applied Study on the Quality of Second Language Teaching in Universities with Meta-universe Empowerment
Abstract
of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technology, is gradually setting off a revolutionary wave in the field of education. In
the teaching of second language in colleges and universities, the use of meta-universe technology opens up a new path for the innovation
of teaching content, the innovation of teaching method and the comprehensive upgrade of students learning experience. Through meta-universe technology, the traditional monotonous classroom teaching can be transformed into an immersive language learning environment,
which makes the teaching content more vivid, intuitive and attractive. With the empowerment of metaverse, teachers can design a variety
of teaching activities, such as role-playing, virtual traveling, online collaboration, etc., to promote the comprehensive improvement of students language skills.
