Moral Education in Traditional Chinese Culture
Abstract
The five-thousand-year history of Chinese civilization has left behind a long and profound cultural heritage. Drawing the national
spirit and moral concepts from traditional culture is a positive reference and revelation for the shaping and establishment of the concept of
moral education in contemporary China. The thesis selects the representative concepts of moral education in traditional Chinese culture to be
analyzed, in order to provide reference for the construction of contemporary moral education concepts. Specifically, they include: the concepts
of learning and life; love and marriage; fame and wealth; responsibility and duty; and morality and life.
