Abstract


In todays society, short video, as an emerging form of media, has been deeply integrated into the life of the public. From the
initial simple entertainment and leisure, to now cover a variety of fields such as publicity and promotion, the influence of short video is increasingly significant. Especially in urban tourism, short video platforms are becoming a force to be reckoned with. This study focuses on
the impact of short video platforms on the development of urban tourism in Hainan, aiming to explore the potential and value of this new
type of urban promotion.
