Abstract


The Origin of Family, Private ownership and State is Engelss landmark work in the study of womens liberation thought, is an
important part of Marxist womens liberation theory, and has rich connotations of womens liberation thought. Engels revealed the change
of womens status from the evolution of family form, explained the connotation of womens liberation thought, the root cause of status
change, and highlighted the internal connection between womens liberation thought and family form. After great changes in the present
era, Engels thought of womens liberation is still shining, which is of great significance to promoting contemporary equality between men
and women.
