Appreciation of the Language Arts of British and American Literary Works from a Cross-cultural Perspective

Abstract

Language is a unique national culture product with charm. People of different nationalities have unique national styles in language
expression, reflecting their own character characteristics and cultural customs. Based on the cross-cultural perspective, this paper analyzes the
language arts of British and American literature creation, such as dramatic monologue, rich metaphors and symbols. On this basis, the paper
puts forward the cross-cultural appreciation path of British and American literary works, including respect for cultural differences, developmental appreciation, equal dialogue and communication, and deepening mutual understanding and respect across cultures.
