The Folklore Significance and Value of Zhenfeng Miao “February 2nd” Family Walking Festival

Abstract

Lunar calendar “February 2” this day is zhenfeng county Miao traditional festival “go kin festival”. “The festival fully demonstrates
the unique living customs and culture of the Miao people in Zhenfeng. Through the field investigation of the “February 2nd” festival of the
Miao people in Zhenfeng, the origins and evolution of the festival, customs, and significance of folklore will be explained, and its value will
be explored, so as to make it a driving force to promote the development of the local economy and tourism.
