The Function and Influence of AIGC in the Creation of Short Videos on Traditional Chinese Culture

Zhiye Li

Abstract

In recent years, the technology of artificial intelligence-generated content (AIGC) has witnessed remarkable advancements in the
domains of text, image, audio, and even video generation, considerably elevating the efficiency of digital content creation and diversifying
the modalities of content presentation. This has proffered an entirely novel train of thought for the reengineering of traditional cultural image
narratives. This dissertation aims to probe into the advantages and limitations of artificial intelligence generation technology in the narrative
of short videos related to Chinese outstanding traditional culture. It analyzes the influence of AIGC on the reconstitution of traditional cultural
image narratives, ensuring that traditional cultural elements retain their cultural essence while manifesting modern aesthetic characteristics in
digital expressions. It also supplies a fresh perspective and theoretical deliberation for the digital expression of Chinese outstanding traditional
culture in international dissemination.
