Abstract


In modern society, with the diversified development of culture and the continuous updating of artistic concepts, it is of great theoretical and practical significance to re-examine and re-interpret the category of Qi Yun in traditional Chinese aesthetics. The purpose of this
paper is to discuss the category of Qi Yun in Chinese traditional aesthetics. Through the analysis of its historical origin, connotation and
characteristics, it reveals the core position of Qi Yun in the traditional Chinese aesthetics system. From a modern perspective, we interpret
Qi Yun and explore its significance and value in modern art creation, aesthetic concepts and cultural inheritance, so as to show the lasting Qi
Yun and modern vitality of traditional Chinese aesthetics.
