A Study on the Cross-Cultural Communication and Translation Strategies of Chinese Tea Culture
Abstract
promoting mutual understanding and cultural exchange. However, this process faces challenges such as language barriers, cultural differences,
and a lack of professional translation talents with interdisciplinary knowledge. This paper explores the current status of Chinese tea culture
dissemination, highlighting both challenges and opportunities. It further identifies key problems in the English translation of tea-related content, including insufficient training of specialized translators and a lack of localization in translation practices. To address these issues, the
paper proposes strategies such as improving interdisciplinary translation education, emphasizing practical training, and adopting creative,
audience-oriented translation approaches. These strategies aim to enhance the global communication of tea culture, foster cultural integration,
and increase the international influence of Chinese tea traditions.
